Tools for Deliberate Builders
We build tools that direct effort, protect focus, and honor the builder’s most finite resource — time.
The Judicious Path
Our users are builders — students, engineers, founders, researchers — people pursuing multiple projects and identities at once. We design for that reality.
Focus is not accidental. Context-switching has a cost. We protect users from invisible fragmentation.
We elevate milestones over task counts. Momentum is psychological fuel.
Work expands unless bounded. We build systems that allow people to work hard — and then stop cleanly.
Rest is not the opposite of ambition. It sustains it.
What We Build
Three products, three protected resources: your media, your time, and your creative output. Each one built from the same principle — structure applied to borrowed time.
Your archive. Your terms.
A private, local-first media library for exploring the collection you already have — without feeds, algorithms, or surveillance. No social layer. No engagement optimization. Just your media, structured and resurfaced intentionally.
For people who want control over their media, not to be controlled by it.
Direct your work. Then stop.
A high-performance execution planner with hard boundaries. Split manages multiple projects, structures deep work, limits context switching, and enforces clean stop lines — so ambition doesn't dissolve into your life.
For builders who care about output, structure, and not burning out their relationships.
Plan your content. Own your reach.
An AI content planning system for creators who want a repeatable workflow, not a content treadmill. Ilume generates a 14-day calendar, 25 hook formats, a voice profile, a funnel blueprint, and DM closing scripts — all calibrated to your niche and platform. One planning session per week. Everything else runs from the system.
For coaches, educators, and indie makers who treat content as infrastructure.
We build for ownership, not addiction.
Every feature must reduce noise, not amplify it.
We measure twice. We ship deliberately.
We design from lived experience, not theory.
“Intensity without erosion.
Ambition without self-betrayal.”
I’m a software engineer who builds real tools and documents the process publicly. Ramiro Labs is the company I started to turn that habit into a product slate — three tools built from real problems I ran into while shipping code and building in public.
Split came from needing a system I couldn’t find — something that would let me pursue multiple things without letting any one thing bleed into everything else. Refract came from wanting to own my media instead of renting attention from an algorithm. Ilume came from needing a content system that would let a builder show their work without turning content into a second job.
Ramiro Labs is the company I built around both — named after my grandfather, who never had the luxury of distraction. He worked with focus because the material demanded it. I believe software can demand the same.
All three products are early. All three are real. If you’re building something and want tools that respect that, you’re in the right place.
Stay in the Loop
Early access, product updates, and the occasional founder note. No noise.
