How I got here
I studied CS at Brown, where we were always asked, what are we actually putting into the world when we build this? It stuck. As I am crafting a site, on top of the design, I want to know what visitors are being asked to trust. My approach to programming is rooted in people, in designing humanity-centered technology, for both my clients and their clients.
The studio I run on the side is named after my grandfather, Ramiro, electrician, welder, and shoemaker. He measured twice. I try to do the same.
Most of my clients are founders and small teams—someone with a new offer that needs a site to look credible, or a spreadsheet they've outgrown and want turned into something real. It has to work, but I want it clever too: a motif that's actually theirs, a detail that only makes sense once you know them, not a template with their logo dropped in. A site should breathe.
Calls can help, but I do my best thinking from a written brief and a clear scope. Tell me what you're building, who it's for, and what your brand stands for. The rest I can usually figure out.
How I work
- I work async. Inbox over calls.
- I quote a range and a timeline upfront.
- I'll tell you what's out of scope before we start.
- I reply within 2 business days, or I tell you why I can't.
Want to work together?
Send a short brief. I will read it before asking for your time.
